Will your device work on our network?

Do you have a spare smartphone lying around? Will it work on C Spire's network? There's an easy way to find out.

To find out if your device is compatible with our network, you'll need a number that identifies your device. There are a couple of numbers that you can use: the ESN, IMEI or MEID numbers.

Find the IMEI

The easiest way to find one of these numbers, the IMEI, is to dial *#06# on the device's phone keypad. It's just like making a call. After dialing *#06#, the 15-digit IMEI number will display. This is the number you'll use to find out if your device will work on our network.

The ESN, IMEI or MEID can also be found on the box the device came in, on a sticker behind the device's battery, or in the About section of your device's General settings.

Once you have the ESN, IMEI or MEID number of your device, find out if it's compatible with our network.

How do I activate a compatible device?

If your device works on our network, you can activate it on one of your existing lines through your online account, or in one of our stores. For your convenience, you can make a store appointment using our reservation tool.

Why isn't my device compatible?

There are several of reasons why your device might not be compatible with our network:

  • It might utilize a different technology.
  • It might already be active on a C Spire account.
  • It might be listed as stolen.
  • It might be a demo unit.
