All iPhones and iPads come with one year of hardware repair coverage through a limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support. AppleCare+ extends hardware repair and telephone technical support coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your device and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage (subject to a per-incident fee). In addition, AppleCare+ provides 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone through getsupport.apple.com.
You can get AppleCare+ at the time you purchase your iPhone/iPad or up to 60 days after the purchase date.
