Getting Your Deposit Back

Published 11/01/2016 04:08 PM   |    Updated 11/01/2016 04:08 PM

If you paid a deposit at the time you signed up for service, you're eligible to receive that deposit back after 10 months where your account remains in good standing, meaning that service was never suspended for nonpayment. If, during the first 10 months of service, service is suspended for nonpayment, the 10-month timeframe starts over once the account balance is paid.

After 10 consecutive months where no suspension of service occurs, we automatically begin the process to refund your deposit. You do not have to contact us to initiate this.

Once the process begins, it can take up to six weeks to receive the deposit check.

Instead of receiving a check, you can request to receive your deposit back as a credit on your account. To do so, you would need to text us at 611 after the 10-month period to request the deposit be credited to your account. The process for applying the credit to your account can also take from four to six weeks to complete.
